Intensity of Winter will Increase in 72 Hours

The piquency of wintry weather will increase in the subsequent three days. The night temperature could drop further, the Meteorological Department said.

According to the weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am today, the night temperature may drop by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius. Also daylight hours temperatures may remain almost unchanged.

It was said in the forecast that,  the weather across the country could remain dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies. Light to moderate fog may fall across the country from late night to early morning.

Today, the lowest temperature in the country has been recorded in Tutuila, 10.5 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature was recorded at Sitakunda in Chittagong at 29.8 degrees Celsius.

The synoptic state of the weather said that an additional part of the sub-continental high pressure zone is located in and around West Bengal. The normal light pressure of the season is located in the South Bay.

There is no warning for the inland river port of the country till 6 pm on Thursday and no signal has to be shown. The sunset in Dhaka today will be at 5:15 pm and the sunrise tomorrow will be at 6:35 pm.
